Frogg Marlowe and Jaycatt Nico booked!

Frogg Marlowe and Jaycatt Nico have officially been booked for August the 22nd at 4PM. They will be rockin' it out with all original music plus great covers of well known music.

Growing up just down the street from each other in Eugene, Oregon, a small northwestern town known for its arts

subculture, Frogg and Jaycatt (now roommates) only started playing music together after joining Second Life. Whilst Frogg was

hosting an open mic for the local music community, Jaycatt was working for a local utility company. Jaycatt discovered

SecondLife in June of 2005, and shortly afterwards Frogg joined him there and started playing

shows. Jaycatt began providing piano music breaks during Frogg's shows, but eventually these breaks

grew into longer sets, and that's when they began to collaborate.

Their regular Friday night performances have been running since July 2005, currently at Jaycatt’s venue ‘AmphibiCatt

Gardens’. The shows are extremely popular, and as well as having a large loyal fan base they entertain and delight the

live music lovers of Second Life, playing on average 6 live shows a week. Frogg and Jaycatt’s notoriety in SL has not

escaped the attention of the music industry and to date they have been interviewed by, amongst others, Rolling Stone

Magazine and MTV.

Their repertoire consists of mostly original material and a few selected covers. Frogg was a vocal jazz minor at college,

while Jay studied piano for 14 years, and together as singer/songwriters they have produced a comprehensive range of

heartfelt and memorable melodies and poetically lyrical songs. Musical influences range from Mannheim Steamroller, Simon

and Garfunkle, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and even Frank Zappa.

Damian Cabernell Live!!!!

Damian Cabernell booked for the Grand Opening at 5pm SLT on August the 13th, 2009.

Damian is a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist streaming his music into SL from the center of the USA, Missouri. Damian has been hailed as "one of the best cover artists in Second Life", by Metaverse Music. The review goes on to add, "He doesn't imitate the song just like it's original, he makes it his own." "His original songs are just as good as the covers. If he didn't announce it as an original I would've thought it was a cover song too.."

Imperfect Angel, Second Life's newest exclusive nightclub and entertainment venue, will celebrate its grand opening event this Thursday August 13, showcasing their venue, art, fashion, and a night packed with giveaways, contests, live music, and more.

Angelius, Second Life, Thursday August 13, 2009 - After many weeks of anticipation and planning, Sand Castle Studios is pleased to announce the Grand Opening event for Second Life's newest exclusive nightclub and entertainment venue - Imperfect Angel. Join us this Thursday, August 13th, 2009 on the new Angelius SIM from 6:00pm-9:00pm PST/SLT for an evening of contests, giveaways, and some of the best live music Second Life has to offer.

Over three hours of live music is scheduled for the grand opening event. The night will kick off with the SL AMA winner for “Best Rock Musician” Allister Westland. Allister’s performance will be followed by his good friend, and fellow SL musician Edward Kyomoon. As a RL recording studio engineer Edward has worked on hundreds of indie and major label albums. He brings an amazing sound and is one of the rising stars of the SL music scene, with fantastic covers and original hits, his performance is a treat you won't want to miss! The event won’t stop there though! Maximillion Kleene, one of Second Life's most popular and beloved entertainers, will be headlining the event at 8:00 PM. Max has a vast repertoire of acoustic rock, alternative, classic and contemporary music. This talented performer from Niagra Falls, Canada puts on a magical show not to be missed. The Imperfect Angel dancers will also be there and looking heavenly in fabulously designed uniforms created by SL fashionista Solange Cerveau of Solange Designs.

The club’s attraction goes far beyond entertainment as well. "The thought process behind the Imperfect Angel was to create something unique, beautiful, and elegant amongst the stoic. We have really strived to provide the ultimate experience to all of your senses while promoting your need for fun and excitement,” says owner Mykael Sciavo

This beautifully designed new club features classic architecture and an elegantly sculpted angelic statue perfect for photography. It has a spacious dance floor where you can rock out to the best live music and DJ's in Second Life. Or, if you feel like getting away from the crowds and nightlife, climb the spiral staircase to the roof. TJ Oanomochi booked for the 14th of August!

TJ Oanomochi booked for Friday the 14th at 5PM for one of the most memorable live shows you will ever see! Join us at the Imperfect Angel to welcome one of SL's most beautiful voices.

TJ Oanomochi is an accomplished, world reknowned singer who has been fortunate enough to sing alongside and behind some of the best artists of all time. She recently finished touring with Chaka Khan and now tours exclusively with Lalah Hathaway and Rahsaan Patterson. She has also been featured on several well known recordings. Most notably, projects for Patti Labelle, Ron Isley and Michael Buble (Featured as a soloist on the track "That's Life" of his recent album, "Call Me Irresponsible.")

Alongside "Showtime At The Apollo's" Ray Chew, TJ has been featured on many television shows with some of the industry's finest perfomers. She was the lead background vocalist and managing director of the lead singers for NBC's "Singing Bee" and is the regular background singer/coordinator for major BET productions and award shows.

In 2004, TJ was offered a position in Japan singing for a major Amusement Park there. She performed at public and private functions for the park during the day, and played small jazz clubs at night. One chance meeting afforded TJ the opportunity of recording with several local musicians, one of which ended in TJ recording the song used as Japan's theme for the Olympics.
